Charlie Burrow, an IT Solution Architect at Direct Line Group, has been using MindView for a year. Here’s how MindView has significantly impacted her work:
Charlie uses MindView for work and task management, particularly for prioritizing and tracking her tasks. As someone diagnosed with inattentive ADHD, MindView was recommended to her in a workplace needs assessment. “I use MindView mind maps to track and prioritize my tasks. I work on multiple projects in parallel and need to track the activities that I have been assigned (or volunteered for) as well as the individual sub-tasks”, she explains.
Before using MindView, Charlie struggled with very long to-do lists spread across multiple projects. She had tried using Outlook Tasks and Microsoft To Do but found it difficult to manage everything effectively. “It was hard to see the wood for the trees!” she says. She also experimented with a personal Kanban in Trello but found it challenging to manage the backlog.
MindView, with its mind mapping feature, allows Charlie to capture and review information about tasks and projects more intuitively. “It feels like moving from 1 dimension to 3 dimensions (where color coding and icons provide the 3rd dimension)”, Charlie notes. She appreciates the software’s easy-to-use interface, which “just works well once you’ve learned the basics.”
Charlie would definitely recommend MindView to others who are overwhelmed by to-do lists and struggling to manage them, whether related to ADHD or not.
Charlie is satisfied with her experience using MindView, finding it a valuable tool for managing her tasks and enhancing her productivity. She notes, “The mind maps in MindView allow me to capture and review information about tasks and projects in a much more intuitive way.”
This testimonial from Charlie Burrow highlights the transformative impact of MindView on her work at Direct Line Group, emphasizing its role in enhancing task management, organization, and productivity for professionals with ADHD and beyond.
