Our mission is to serve and protect the community through various policing activities and initiatives. As part of our dedication to supporting our colleagues, we have recommended MindView through the Workplace Adjustment process since October 2011. This initiative aims to enhance productivity and provide essential support to our team members, ensuring they have the tools needed to excel in their roles.

Tanyha Marsh from West Midlands Police Force has been using MindView for about a year. She primarily uses it for report writing and creating documents for court. Tanyha explains, “It helps when I have several documents for an investigation to go through.”

Tanyha finds MindView particularly advantageous for organizing information clearly. She states, “I am able to see information more clearly. I am also able to update information on MindView, and everything is still in the correct order.”

One of the features she appreciates most is the ability to focus on specific topics without distractions. “It’s easier to concentrate on specific topics, without a lot of visual stuff going on, which allows you to keep on track. Rather than moving from one thing to another, which can be very tiring,” she adds.

Tanyha sees potential for MindView to be used in various aspects of police work, such as evidence gathering, recording exhibits, and report writing. She mentions, “There are strategies and meetings that take place regularly with our senior management teams that they could also use this for.”

She highlights the benefits of MindView’s ease of use, especially considering the many different systems that West Midlands Police use, which are not integrated. “It is beneficial due to its ease of use. WMP also use numerous different systems that are not integrated. Therefore, tasks take a long time to complete. This could also assist when building complex cases. As we do put maps, images, phone reports, graphs, charts, etc., together in one case. To do this, we are using numerous systems and software. MindView would make this a lot easier and faster, once we have collected all the information,” she explains.
